The Jaguar E-Type is one of the most iconic cars of the 20th century. After its issue in 1961, the first significant up-grade of Jaguar’s sensational E-type occurred in 1964 with the launch of the 4.2-litre version. Along with the bigger engine came a more user-friendly gearbox. The car’s external appearance did not change apart from the “4.2” badging but under the skin, there were numerous details improvement. This particular exemplar was delivered new in 1965 in New York as a Left-Hand Drive Open-Two-Seater in a beautiful dark blue color with assorted soft hood and light blue interior. She came back to Europe (Spain) in the 1990s. The Spanish owner decided to restore it completely and had the car repainted in black with a black interior and a black hood. The Jaguar E-type spent some years in Germany before it was acquired in 2015 by the current owner, a Belgian passionate. At the time, the car had a 4-gear manual box that he changed for a 5-Getrag gearbox. He also decided to repaint the E-type in its original color, a deep night blue, during the winter 2020/21. Since then, the car has retrieved its timeless British elegance and holds a Belgian road registration as old-timer. It drives regularly and shows a total of 64.500 miles on the counter. The Jaguar Etype comes with its Heritage Trust Certificate. This Jaguar E-Type Series 1 OTS in Night Blue is more than just a car; it’s a masterpiece of automotive history. Ideal for collectors and enthusiasts alike, it’s ready for its next chapter with an owner who will appreciate its legacy and character.
