As the successor to the DB 5, which became famous through the legendary James Bond films, the DB 6 has a longer wheelbase and significantly more space. The DB 6 became famous through a test report in the magazine “Autosport” issue 11/1966, which attested a top speed of 152 mp/h (245 km/h) to the sports car. In total, only 30 cars of the DB6 Volante were produced in the Vantage version; 25 of them as right-hand drive and 5 as left-hand drive. According to available documents, the Aston Martin presented here was delivered to France and served as the exhibition vehicle at the 1967 Paris Motor Show. Later, the vehicle went to Switzerland before being sold to a respected Hamburg merchant family, in whose possession the car remains to this day. It is one of only 5 left-hand drive DB 6 Vantage Volante built. Two of them were made for the USA and three for the European market. The car has German road registration. An Aston Martin Built sheet and a valuation report are available. A true collector’s item for the Aston Martin enthusiast. Equipment Vantage engine, 3.73:1 limited slip differential, chrome spoke wheels with centre lock, period radio, 5-speed gearbox, electric windows, wooden steering wheel, power steering, etc. Engine In-line six-cylinder, 3,995 cc, 325 hp
