This exquisite Lynx XKSS was one of the first batch of nine XKSS cars constructed by Lynx and was originally built for to order for noted Jaguar and Ecurie Ecosse collector Dick Skipworth, founder and CEO of Mermac, finished in British Racing Green with mid green leather interior The car was then sold to another renowned collector Gary Bartlett in the USA before it later joined the collection of actor Nicholas Cage in Los Angeles, supplied to him by our friends at Autosport Designs in New York Repatriated to the UK in the early 2010s and carefully detailed and lightly restored by leading restorer Thorney Kelham with the brief to retain as much patination as possible, the car then formed part of the Chris Evans collection before the vendor acquired the car in 2015 Maintained by leading Jaguar experts CKL Developments throughout the current ownership, this magnificent example is currently being serviced at CKL under the watchful eye of Chris Keith-Lucas who was a founding member of the original Lynx team
