The production of the 250 SL started in December 1966. The engine and brakes were slightly modified from the 250 SE. The power output corresponds to that of the 230 SL, but a significantly higher torque of 216 Nm is achieved at the same engine speed (4200 rpm), which primarily results in improved acceleration. 250 SLs are the rarest examples of the W 113 series due to the fact that they were only built for just over a year. 5,186 were produced. According to available documents, this 250 SL was delivered to the USA on 21 May 1967 and returned to Germany in the 1990s. The car has been partially restored to its original condition and has undergone regular maintenance in recent years. The vehicle has a German historic registration. A Classic Data valuation report is available. Last but not least, the car impresses with its contemporary colour scheme and its untouched condition.
