In 1971 only 788 targa with the 2.2 litre 6-cylinder boxer engine in the 180 hp variant left the works in Stuttgart Zuffenhausen. This example was completed towards the end of 1970 and 1st registered on the 7th May 1971. Several years ago, the 911 was restored in Holland where it received a repaint in “Blue metallic” 324. The interior in black vinyl was restored at the same time and is in good condition. The engine, the 5-speed gearbox and the rest of the mechanical bits were always carefully maintained and overhauled as necessary. Some receipts are available and will be handed over with the car. In 2021, the Porsche was taken over by the vendor, imported into Germany and integrated into his collection. Due to lack of time the stunning targa was driven sparingly, and therefore the owner has now decided to pass it on to a new enthusiast. This 911 S is in good to very good overall condition and will certainly delight a new owner for years to come. The car has German documents, is on H-plates and Swiss custom duties have so far not been paid. For a Swiss buyer the car will be properly imported and MOT'd after the sale.
