This special Alfetta was handed over to its first owner by Mito AG in Zurich on 3 March 1978. In 1982, with a good 65’000 kilometers on the clock, the Alfa was taken over by a sports enthusiast and lover of the Italian brand. In keeping with the spirit of the times, over the next two years he had the car lowered, 15-inch Gotti rims fitted, a complete widening kit with front and rear spoiler installed and the whole car repainted in the colour of his choice, including airbrush. In the interior, König bucket seats were installed, a wooden Indy steering wheel fitted, and electric window lifters retrofitted. All modifications were of course registered in the vehicle registration. In the following years, the Alfetta was driven with pleasure and - as the existing documents show - regularly serviced. In February 2018, the GTV received a new gearbox mounting and in October of that year, new Koni shock absorbers were fitted to the front and rear axles. A new sports exhaust system was fitted in September 2019 and the cylinder head gasket as well as the clutch were replaced in May 2022. In April 2023, the gearbox was overhauled, and the rear axle was fitted with new brake calipers and brake discs. In July of that year - shortly before the last owner took over the car - a new starter motor was fitted. The Alfetta is currently in good condition, has just under 139’000 kilometers on the clock and is a perfect contemporary witness to the early 1980s. The veteran MOT has been performed in July 2023.
