The Alpine A310 was the French answer to the German Porsche 911: a long-distance GT with 2+2 seats and a V6 rear engine of 2.7 l and 150 hp. Based on the model of its predecessor and multiple world rally champion A110, the A310 also had a central tube chassis and a plastic body. The Alpine A310 offered here was delivered in June 1980 by the Renault dealer Garage Keigel in Frenkendorf to the first owner in the Basel area. It is one of the last of the 1st series with the iconic 3-hole rims and the filigree bumpers, but already with a 5-speed gearbox and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors. The first owner drove the car until 1987, when it was bought by a qualified car and machine mechanic, who meticulously maintained it himself over the past 36 years with every possible care. As was not uncommon in the 1980s, he installed 2 Weber triple carburetors of type 42 DCNF, an electronic ignition, a fan manifold and a 4-pipe ANSA silencer. This significantly improved performance, elasticity and revving pleasure. All original parts are present. Thanks to its low weight of less than 1,000 kg, the Alpine is a lot of fun to drive – pure driving pleasure. The metallic Arctic Ice Blue color and the impeccable Bleu de France interior suit the car perfectly. The driver’s seat has been completely reupholstered professionally. This beautiful Alpine A310 stands on classic 15-inch Gotti rims with new tires and is in absolutely original and top-maintained collector’s condition with original 99,900 km, veteran-tested. The original delivery and warranty card, the owner’s manual and the exhaust maintenance document with no gaps are present.
