The Jaguar XJS, an iconic classic with an impressive past and a challenging legacy: the successor to the legendary E-Type. Where the E-Type was known for its pure sportiness, the XJS emphasized luxury and comfort without losing sight of speed. With its introduction, the XJS was immediately equipped with Jaguar's powerful 5.3 liter V12, good for no less than 285 hp. This results in an impressive acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, and a top speed of over 250 km/h. Our Jaguar XJS convertible, originally delivered in Switzerland, is a special example. It has only been owned by three owners to date, which contributes to its unique character and careful maintenance history. Did you know that the first XJS convertibles were built by the American Hess & Eisenhardt, because Jaguar initially had difficulty producing a convertible? Nowadays, Jaguar has of course completely mastered that! This beautiful example, with its striking combination of performance and refinement, has been immaculately maintained and is ready for a new chapter. A true ‘driver’s car’ that is not only rare, but also full of fun and character.
