Offered With Detailed Service History From New

This DB7 Vantage Chassis # SCFAB2236YK300368 has had 5 owners from new, and is believed to be the 368th out of the 1,477 Vantages produced. It was ordered as you see it today, in Aston Martin Racing Green over fern/parchment interior. Delivered new by Aston Martin of Troy, Michigan, to the first owner in Oklahoma. According to the original window sticker copy on file, the first owner ordered this DB7 with a premium audio system, Carbon fiber sports steering wheel, carbon fiber veneers, parchment leather seat backs, white dials, parchment leather headlining, a cup holder, manual drilled pedal pads in a matt finish, and a carbon fiber gear shift knob all of these choices amounting to a sporting-oriented grand tourer. As well as what has become a rare and desirable spec today. The first owner consistently serviced at John Eagle Aston Martin in Duncan, OK. The car was sold to its second owner in 2005, in Deephaven Minnesota. With its second owner this DB7 was serviced at Lake Forest Motorcars and Maserati of Minneapolis. We believe the third owner to have purchased the car in 2011, having subsequently serviced the car at Maserati of Minneapolis. Shortly after it appears this DB7 was then purchased by its fourth owner in 2012 who retained little service history in the record. However we believe it was most likely serviced and well maintained given the car’s condition and subsequent records. The car’s mileage went from 8,660 to 19,183 from 2012 to 2018. The fifth owner, from 2018 to current has consistently serviced the car at Aston Martin marque specialists during their care including AutoSport Designs and Steel Wings. More recently, in preparation for sale, this DB7 received a no expense spared service at Leading Edge Autosport addressing any and all findings in addition to new tires. Making this a 100% up-to-date DB7 with no needs, a rare opportunity in the world of DB7’s. Offered with detailed service records, this example has been thoroughly maintained and well kept having been serviced with all issues involving Aston Martin part recalls taken care of. This is truly a well kept DB7 that is worthy of any collection or the ultimate one-car garage. A timeless and elegant car of the era and a symbol of Aston Martin’s revival and superb design. Offered with the sale are both keys, original manuals, tool kit, spare, and available service records. Exterior Body and paint This DB7 shows to have been very well kept. The car appears to have never been in any accidents, is free of dents and overall is straight with excellent panel gaps and fitment. The paint shows nicely throughout with meter readings showing 3.5-6.0 mils throughout with no evidence of any paintwork noted. The front fenders and trunk as well as the bumpers are all composite so we could not meter them, however with the exception of the front bumper it appears none of these panels have ever been painted either. The front bumper has been refinished but was done to a very high standard. Glass and trim All of the glass appears to be the original Triplex units free of any major blemishes beyond a very small amount of delaminating on the lower corner on the passenger side. The trim is all present, including the often missing rubber surrounds for the fog lights. Wheels The wheels are in excellent condition overall with no curb rash, though the holes for the lugs do show some light scratching from taking lugs in and out over the years. Notable flaws The biggest issues that stood out in our inspection are as follows: the driver and passenger side front fenders show a handful of small pencil point sized chips toward the front in a handful of places. The driver's door edge shows a small chip and a further chip below the trim line on the door surface. The clear bra behind all of the wheels on the lower wheel arches are all cracking and were likely installed when the car was new. None of these are worth addressing, but need to be disclosed. Interior Seats and surfaces The interior of this DB7 compliments the exterior and is ultimately what makes this car so special. The mixture of parchment and green with the carbon and white gauges makes for a unique and very well ordered example. DB7’s are not often seen with this particular combination. We can see that the interior is reflective of the mileage in terms of its condition. Signs of use, but generally in good condition and well cared ful. The door panels, sills, kick panels, dash, seats, rear seats, carpet etc… are all in excellent condition overall. We see some minor fading on a few of the carbon pieces and some minor scuffing to the sills from entry and egress. The headliner shows to be sagging a bit toward the rear, but this is common in nearly all DB7’s. Functionality and accessories All buttons, knobs, switches or the like are improper working order. The HVAC systems, lighting and audio systems were improper working order at the time of testing. Engine bay and trunk Engine bay The engine bay presents beautifully with everything appearing stock, serviced, and in order. The only item that jumps out is a missing flange/seat for one of the zeus fasteners that holds on the drivers side engine bay panel. Otherwise it is clean and tidy. Trunk area The trunk is clean and tidy as well, removing the trunk floor shows the spare and full tool kit with nothing missing. No evidence of any accidents or any other issues are noted. Underside The underside is clean but reflective of the mileage showing signs of use and perhaps a minor scrape here or there. We must note that the underside photos were taken prior to the suspension servicing this car received before being listed for sale. Mechanicals Engine The engine starts easily and settles down to a calm idle. The engine pulls hard, strong, and without any unwanted noises or smoke, freely revving through the RPM range. No issues to note. Transmission The clutch feels excellent and the shifts are easy with all synchro’s in good condition, no issues to note with its function. Brakes and suspension The suspension benefits from recent servicing and has been recently signed off on as in order with no issues to note. The brakes have ample life left and benefit from recently refinished calipers. The brakes do their job well with no pulling, pulsating or warping present in the rotors. Tires The tires are recently installed Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 265/35 ZR18 (rear) and 245/40 ZR18 (front) with date codes of 2024 on all 4 corners. Driving experience The DB7 set in motion a new era for Aston Martin, and given the Vantage was the first Aston Martin GT car with a V12, it had a lot to live up to as it carried the brand into the new millennium. This car is amazing to drive, comfortable, powerful, and capable. Even better this example, unlike so many others, is fully serviced with an open checkbook approach and always has been - a rarity for DB7’s. This is a beautifully spec’d performer that is ready for anyone looking to seriously drive a DB7. A proper one car garage or addition to any serious collection.
